Paintings made under ayahuasca influence

In 2014 I went through the darkest moment of my life and needed some time away from the city. It was during this time that I experienced ayahuasca for the first time in the Amazon. The paintings in this series  called "Last Lights" were inspired by the new perception that the ayahusca tea brings. The inspiration process is enhanced and the fear of making mistakes disappears. In places where "there was nothing" I could actually see a lot. Despite not everything is like “la vie en rose”, there were times when I couldn't continue painting under the effects of the tea. Like in the "The Gate" painting, where the surface kept moving and I started to see many snakes crawling across the floor. PLease find below all the paintings of this series.
